The City Income Tax was initiated in the mid 1970s with the funds used to help in the operation of the city by providing a variety of services. Included are the Sheriff, Fire Protection, Health Department, Cemetery, Recreation, Repair of city’s streets, and Municipal Court.

The Coshocton Income Tax Department is charged with the collection, audit and enforcement of the 1.5% municipal income tax pursuant to Chapter 191 of the City of Coshocton Codes. For information for filing requirements, please refer to the General Information & Instructions page of this web site.
