The Coshocton City Health Department, founded shortly after the turn of the century, is governed by the Coshocton City Board of Health which has the full authority and responsibility for the operation of the health department. On July 1, 1966, the health department established a home health division to serve citizens of the City of Coshoton. Recently, the home health territory has been expanded to serve clients within a ten mile radius of the city limits.
