Development

Coshocton is a prime area for development centrally located within minutes of interstates, with railway access, a 5000’ runway airport, eager and skilled workforce, business friendly local government, an outstanding quality of life and an abundance of water with a state of the art water/wastewater infrastructure system.

Our water plant currently pumps 3.5 million gallons per day with a capacity of 15 million. Our wastewater plant has been upgraded with a bio digester system capable of receiving food and other high Biochemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D.) waste.

The City works closely with other organizations to make business inquiries simple, speedy and efficient. The Coshocton Chamber of Commerce is located on the Coshocton Campus of Central Ohio Technical College and the Coshocton Port Authority is located across from the County Courthouse in the Progress Center on Main Street.

The mission of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote a partnership of business, professional, and community leaders working together to advance business success, economic development and employment opportunities in our community. More information can be found at CoshoctonChamber.com.

The Coshocton Port Authority is an Economic Development Resource Center connecting business, industry, finance, government and education to promote growth and success in our community.

It is a city and county public agency created to support efforts that lead to job creation and retention. The port authority can create a portfolio of information that is specific to a project. When considering relocating to our area the Coshocton Port Authority is a first point of contact to help with questions about land, buildings, loans and grants as well as local, state and federal tax incentives.
