The City of Coshocton invites qualified consultants to submit Qualifications/Proposal Statements to provide a range of services related to the implementation of the City of Coshocton’s American Forests Catalyst Fund Program including but not limited to overseeing necessary planning and outreach activities, administration and implementation services, financial disbursements, progress reporting, and closeout requirements over a four year period, Interested firms should contact Shanna Stanton at 740-622-1465 or for a packet including instructions and submission requirements. Responses are due by December 2, 2024.
Leaf collection in the City of Coshocton is currently underway. This schedule is tentative, and could vary depending on many factors, especially the weather. In addition to this schedule, the truck will make several rounds of leaf pickups throughout the city, as time and weather permits.

Effective immediately, open burning in the City of Coshocton is permitted as outlined in the City Ordinance and within the current statewide burn ban.
The current statewide burn ban allows open burning from 6:00pm to 6:00am daily. In the event Coshocton County is again included in the State Fire Marshal’s Ban on Open Burning, the residents will be notified immediately.
Before burning in the City of Coshocton, review the ordinance and be certain it is within the permitted times. The link for the City of Coshocton Ordinance pertaining to open burning can be found here:

The owner of a city lot is required to remove all weeds and tall grass that is over 8” tall, being deemed unsafe, unhealthy, and a nuisance. On failure of the owner to act after being notified by publication, city officers shall issue a complaint noting violations of section CCCO 1333.06. If the City of Coshocton abates a nuisance violation such as high grass or weeds the City will file a lien against the property for fee collection through property tax assessment. Resolution 7-22 adopted by the City of Coshocton on June 27, 2022, authorizing the disposal of unneeded, obsolete, or unfit city property, including motor vehicles, road machinery, car parts, equipment, tools, and office equipment or supplies by Internet Auction in accordance with O.R.C. section 505.10.
Internet Auction will be conducted through www.govdeals.com with who the City of Coshocton has contracted.
All items will be offered for sale “as is, where is” with the City of Coshocton making no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind expressed or implied, as to the condition of said items.
Items will be listed for a minimum of ten (10) days.
